Sebino Turns 17!

Happy Birthday, Sebino!

Our Dutch boy turned 17 today. The morning started with a birthday song and balloons, presents, and breakfast at Connie and Ben's while I was away at the University. Sebino and Guido invited exchange  student friends and a couple of local kids to the house for foosball, pinball, ping pong, and junk food as well as dinner and C. A. K. E.!

The international students have created a wonderful bond--a family, really--and I attribute that deep friendship to their local coordinator, Abbey Rice, as well as the kids' host parents and the school in general. There's a lot of laughter and care among these kids. Here's the day!
