Helping friends... Community service

Pellets stacked.
As always, click on photos too enlarge.
One of the components of an exchange is serving the local community... It's one way to say thank you to a town like Rumford for providing free schooling. On Tuesday evening, the boys went to help community friends, Sharon and Mike Madore, by lugging sixty, 40 lbs bags of pellets into their home. These wood pellets are used for heating the house in a stove that looks a lot like a wood stove. I use pellets plus forced hot water fired by oil heat, so this exercise for the boys served as training for what's to come at the Kent house! :-)

Sebino hoisting a bag of pellets toward the front porch of the Madore's home.

The roaring pellet stove in the Kent house... notice the snow out the window. :-)
